A lovely room in a Victorian townhouse, 2 minutes walking distance from a corner shop, 10min walk away from Cowick street, 15mins walk from Riverside Leisure Centre, and 25 mins walk into Exeter city centre or the quay (which is equidistant). The property has a garden, with views across Exeter including the Cathedral (which is lit up at night). The house has a nice size kitchen, and the tenant will have access to the all the communal living spaces. The bathroom contains a bath/shower and other essentials. There is very limited on-road parking in the area (can be a bit tough to find a space), but good pubic transport links, with busses, and Exeter St. Thomas train station at the top of Cowick Street.
I'm a part-time post grad student studying at the University of Exeter. I'm interested in offering this lodging to another creative individual, who is keen to explore the city. I know Exeter well, and work from home most days of the week. I have a cat with a wonderful personality, and we have good neighbours. This is a very safe area, it's quiet, and would suit someone who appreciates a bit of sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. A great place to study.
